Tourist Season 1986 | By: Carl Hiassen | Type: Novel |
45 % : Beach type novel with a bit more depth |
Review : A wide variety of well formed characters and not obvious twists in the plot |

comments : An eccentric popular newspaper columnmist decides he has
had enough of his beloved Florida being destroyed by the tourist industry.
So he hatches a bizarre plan to get everyone to leave.
My guess is the author has the same anti-tourist views as the character, but decided that expressing them in a book would be better than actually resorting to terrorism. |
