Fri - Down from Glasgow.. arrived in Birmingham 350Km away in 2 easy hitches. amazing how the travel continued to flow..it turned out much easier than the bus option. first a 250Km ride from welder John, then with Sheffield trucker to the edge of Birmingham ..arriving about 4 hours earlier than I expected

Thursday : Humanists lecture on Secularism : Non-secular=DIVISIVE SOCIETY
The point is if you go for religious schools, religios, universities, religious restaurants, religious workplaces, you end up with a ghetto society. By keeping things secular everyone shares the same society so adding to integration and understanding.

In her new book "Unsafe Gods: Security, Secularism and Schooling" she argues that religion can be complicit in conflict and that a new secularism is vital to foster security
