Actually, that turns out to be GREEN WISHFUL THINKING influencing the headline writers. If you read deeper into the story the plants were shut down for safety stress tests

But now stress tests have been completed on the nuclear reactors & the local government in Oi wants to restart the plants so people can go back to work.
- the greens have said "trust the scientists There is an overwhelming consensus of nuclear scientists who say they are safe so lets re-start the plants" ...no of course they haven't as That conflicts with their alternative reality, where solar & wind power have magic efficiency that doesn't show up in the actual maths & nuclear power is the killer power despite the science showing it causes less deaths.

In Japan the local government of Oi wants to turn back on the local nuclear reactors now scientists have said that they have passed their stress safety tests, so the workers can go back to work.
- The green groups are trying to stir up hysteria as they already convinced some media Japan had pulled out of nuclear. Funny I thought the greens were telling us we have to trust the scientists.
