- This is a surprisingly good video. I hadn't really understood why getting Mann's Uni of Virginia emails from the time of the invention of the hockey stick graph.
- "It's a witch-hunt, hounding a brave scientist" the activists shout
- Actually it derives out of Climategate, which did reveal some absolutely damming lines about manipulating data & covering ups etc. Discussions included hockey stick graph inventor Michael Mann.
Though the activists say "All the inquiries cleared the scientists"... Skeptics point out all th inquiries were substantially flawed.
- The right wing lobby group ATI thought "hang on we now know scientist were being deceptive, so what did they discuss when Mann was inventing his discredited hockey stick graph ? If we can prove that at the time other scientists knew it was fake ..that's a real big deal".
- They then realised that at the time Mann was working at the University of Virginia and the State of Virginia has a FOI Act. So they began to pursue it.
- The strong resistance from the Uni, fueled their suspicions ... they got many time delays & excuses like "we lost it" etc. "we can't do that".
- Not true as when Greenpeace requested emails from another professor in the same department they were handed over.
- It took many years now the case is on it's last legs with the 2nd higest court judge declining to make a judgement & passing it up to the highest court in the state.

- It's interesting they quote diarist writing observations about global "rivers that used to freeze, no longer do etc. etc. it's a long account" then at the end it says ..from the diary of Thomas Jefferson writing about Climate change in 1799 ..from link

- In Oz the ABC is heavily infected by the Green-Activist cult.. Skeptics are only rarely allowed on when editing can make them look like idiots.
- Then they come up with this TV prog "I Can Change Your Mind about Climate" ..Wow even though they wouldn't let on any Skeptical scientist on the panel it would mean someone would give the skeptical view point
- The title of the prog is interesting “I Can Change Your Mind about Climate”, Yes, you can. I already changed my mind, when I was in the Greenie circles 12 years ago & I checked facts.
- So I know what it's like to be a "of course it's true" IPCC Believer.

It's Complicated Stupid - No one person can understand the whole climate system.. however I as an observer can see when some lies to me, distorts or makes predictions that are wrong.
- There is a podcast called the Interrogator ... it was supposed to be a debate about Climate Change : however it was flawed from the start as they got Warmist spokesman George Monbiot to represent one side ..and for the other side they got another warmist : Claire Fox who happens to be a maniac on libertarian values ... So the debate wasn't about CC, rather more about Fox promoting her libertarian stuff.
- It was crap ..except is was useful for exposing the weakeness of Monbiots arguments :
- He said "Look it's about the evidence" Yep, good start
"The overwhelming number of scientist agree" ..err no they don't & anyway that's the Fallacy of argument of authority
"97% of scientists agree" - both those studies were fundamentally flawed -check your facts
- So his entire argument rests not on evidence, but on "Argument of authority" from 2 studies well known to be flawed
...kerplunk George Monbiot's argument has fallen apart.

| - I thought comedy was dead, but then I realised the BBCnews having an enviromental dept pushing out loads of climate activist propaganda is a form of irony. It's like the BBC have sneaked in the NEW Monty Python : The Michael Mann's Lying Circus : Harrabin, Black & Shukman & their North American sidekicks Hansen, Mann & Gleick (AKA the Joker) + the Australian Flannery wearing the big clown prediction shoes…oh and there’s a whole posse of Hacktivist sidekicks led by Monbiot “If the story fits my dogma, then I won’t check the facts, just churn it !”
