Sons Of The Moon By: Shukman, Henry 1990 Type: Travelogue

40% : Not as good as going there , read it before or instead of going to Bolivia/Peru
Review : OK some feeling of travel adventure, but ends hurridly, could be much better rewritten. Not as amazing as the sleevenote suggests. Though he is obviously a lot clever than me .. fluent Spanish at 18 ! I learnt much more by going there myself.
meaning : get off the tourist track, walk, learn Spanish and meet the locals. I AGREE COMPLETELY
remnants of a great culture exist under the imerialism imposed by the Spanish
synopsis : Story of his travels through the Indian areas of South America - Northern Argentina through Bolivia to Cusco and Machu Picchu
